CORPORATE MANAGEMENT
FINANCIAL INFORMATION
The Board of Directors convenes pursuant to the provisions of the
Bank’s Articles of Association, whenever Bank business requires or at
the invitation of the Chairman. The Board reviews matters related to
the Bank and makes decisions according to the authority granted to it
by the Bank’s Articles of Association, law and regulations.
Throughout 2012, members of the Board of Directors regularly
participated in meetings and fulfilled the quorum requirement.
OSMAN ARSLAN 
Chairman of the Board
A graduate of Middle East Technical University, Faculty of Sciences and
Literature, Department of Statistics, Mr. Arslan completed his master’s
degree in Business Administration for Executives at the same university.
Subsequently, he held executive positions at T. Halk Bankası A.Ş. and
T.C. Ziraat Bankası A.Ş. as Department Head and Assistant General
Manager. Between July 4, 2011 and March 5, 2012, Mr. Arslan served as
Member of the Board of Directors and General Manager at A&T Bank as
well as Chairman at A&T Leasing. He has served as Assistant General
Manager responsible for International Banking and Participations at T.C.
Ziraat Bankası A.Ş. since January 2013 and he has been Chairman of the
Board at A&T Bank since March 5, 2012. He has 17 years of professional
experience in the banking sector.
PROF. DR. BEN ISSA A. HUDANAH 
Deputy Chairman
A graduate of University of Libya in Management Faculty, Mr. Hudanah
completed his doctorate in 1975 and became a professor in 1986.
Subsequently, he took part in the restructuring processes of National
Commercial Bank, Umma Bank and Wahda Bank. Serving as Board
Member at the Libyan Foreign Bank from 2005 to 2009, Mr. Hudanah
has lectured at Benghazi University, Department of Marketing
Management since 1986. Mr. Hudanah has numerous publications
in Arabic and English on different areas of marketing. Mr. Hudanah
has been the Chairman at Libyan Foreign Bank since 2012 and was
appointed as Deputy Chairman of A&T Bank on June 28, 2012. He has
36 years of professional experience.
SADEK K.S. ABU HALLALA 
Board Member and General Manager
A graduate of Garyounis University (Libya), Department of Accounting,
Mr. Abu Hallala completed his master’s degree in accounting at the
University of Hartford (USA). Subsequently, he worked at Esso Libya
Oil Company for 10 years and then at Arbift Bank (Abu Dhabi) between
1989 and 1995. Mr. Abu Hallala then served as Manager of the
Accounting Department at Libyan Foreign Bank from 1995 to 2006. He
has been General Manager at A&T Bank since 2006. He has 29 years
of professional experience in the banking sector.
