STUDIES TO
IMPROVE
INFRASTRUCTURE
INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES
Striving to rank among the top
banks in the industry with an
advanced information technology
infrastructure, A&T Bank carried
out IT upgrade and development
initiatives throughout the year:
Integration between
the Electronic Workflow
Management System and
the Core Banking Application
was completed, boosting
the efficiency of the Bank’s
business processes and
shortening transaction durations
considerably.
Integration of the Customer
Relations Management
System with the Core Banking
Application was completed;
the application will commence
operation in stages. This
project will enable the Bank to
archive and report customer
information as desired and to
monitor and control customer
data and reporting more easily.
In addition, customer visits
records and data gathered
during these visits will become
searchable while an effective
channel for customer campaigns
and announcements will also be
established.
Infrastructure building efforts
that will enable tax, social
security (SGK) premium and bill
collection were completed, and
the Tax and Invoice Collection
System became operational.
As part of the Foreign Account
Tax Compliance Act (FATCA)
Reporting System Project, the
FATCA Reporting System aimed
to report the incomes of A&T
Bank customers who are also
US citizens commenced
service, and the Bank began
automatically generating the
reports to be sent to the relevant
authorities.
The Bank starts submitting the
e-notebook, ledger and record
books to the Ministry of Finance
via electronic means.
Once the integration of the T24
Core Banking Application with
the Identity Information Sharing
System (IISS) is complete,
basic customer information
such as first name, last name,
place of birth and address is
automatically transferred from
the IISS to the Core Banking
Application. With this feature
enabled, the accuracy of
customer identity information
and addresses is checked
systematically.
The Bank plans to establish a
new reporting structure, which
enable a more detailed entry of
targets by reviewing customer
efficiency reports, comparison
of realized and set performance
targets, and a better analysis of
customer efficiency.
The T24 Core Banking
Application, which is currently a
desktop application, is upgraded
with the T24 Browser to become
a browser-based application and
the application is planned to
become operational in stages.
Integration of the T24 Image
Processing Management module
was completed and it was rolled
out in pilot mode along with
the T24 Browser application.
This project enables the Bank
to enter all types of customer
documentation (e.g. signature,
photograph, ID photocopies,
and the like) into the T24 Core
Banking System and view these
documents automatically during
