A&T BANK ANNUAL REPORT 2012
A&T Bank serves as a bridge for trade between Turkey
and North African and Middle East countries, and Libya
in particular. As a specialized, niche player in the Turkish
finance industry, A&T Bank is focused on non-cash and
commercial loans aimed at construction firms executing
projects in the MENA region, and at commercial customers
exporting to this region. The Bank has traditionally
concentrated on treasury transactions, corporate loans (cash
and non-cash) and export financing (letters of credit) since
the 1970s. However, during the reporting period, it has taken
significant steps to renew and diversify its product portfolio,
and to strengthen its commercial banking offerings in order
to position itself as a more significant player within the
Turkish finance market.
The Bank has 272 employees and seven branches in total,
with three in Istanbul (Main Branch, Kozyatağı and Güneşli)
and one each in Ankara, Gaziantep, Kayseri, and Konya as of
year-end 2012.
