GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE BANK
I. BANK’S DATE OF ESTABLISHMENT, BEGINNING STATUTE, ITS HISTORY INCLUDING CHANGES ON ITS STATUTE
Arap Türk Bankası Anonim Şirketi (“the Bank”) has been established on 11 August 1975 as a joint stock entity in accordance with
an agreement signed between the Republic of Turkey and the Libyan Arab Republic. The duration of the Bank is 50 years from the
commencement of the Agreement. This period shall be renewable automatically unless agreed otherwise by an Extraordinary General
Meeting held at least one year prior to expiration.
In accordance with the Articles of Association, the Board of Directors shall elect a Chairman among its Turkish members and a Deputy
Chairman among its Arab members. The General Manager shall always be nominated by the Arab Shareholders assigned by the
Board.

ABOUT BANK’S GROUP
The Bank is a foreign bank status incorporated in Turkey. The main shareholder Libyan Foreign Bank is %100 owned by Central Bank
of Libya. The main shareholder Libyan Foreign Bank has financial investments in various countries.
The other shareholders are Türkiye İş Bankası A.Ş., and T.C. Ziraat Bankası A.Ş.
